Detroit Lions: Finally, some good injury-related news!

It’s been a tough start to the season for the Detroit Lions offensive line. And that’s mainly due to injury. The biggest absence being that of last year’s first round selection, left tackle Taylor Decker.

After a terrific rookie season in which he played every offensive snap (1,037) for the Lions, Decker suffered a shoulder injury (torn labrum) during June OTA’s that required surgery. The 23-year old was expected to required somewhere between four-to-six months to recover.

In the meantime, the Lions traded a 2018 sixth round selection to the Los Angeles Rams for left tackle and former first round pick Greg Robinson to replace Decker along their offensive line.
