The Detroit Lions announced on Wednesday their finalized coaching staff for the 2021 NFL season. After confirming the hiring of wide receiver coach Antwaan Randle El earlier in the day, Detroit’s staff has been fully rounded out.
In total, there are 17 new faces to the Detroit Lions, with only a handful of carryovers from last year, including offensive line coach Hank Fraley, tight ends coach Ben Johnson, and the quality control staff from both sides of the ball.
Notably, the Lions have eight former NFL players on their coaching staff, including their head coach and both the offensive and defensive coordinators.
