When Bob Quinn fired Jim Caldwell as Detroit Lions coach, he left no doubt about why a change was being made.
Quinn wanted “a change in leadership,” he said, and a “head coach (who can) bring us a championship.” And when asked if he thought the Lions, with their assembled talent, should have won more than nine games this year, Quinn gave a one-word answer: "Yes.
