Anthony Zettel was billed as a try-hard guy when the Lions took him in the sixth round out of Penn State in the 2016 NFL draft.
Zettel, the scouting reports said, would always work hard and be the type of guy you’d want on your team, but he’d never be a big contributor as a pass rusher.
Well, four weeks into his second NFL season, Zettel is tied for sixth in the NFL with four sacks. That’s the same number as stars like Justin Houston, Von Miller and Khalil Mack, and one more than his Pro Bowl teammate, Ziggy Ansah.
