In what was a brutal first quarter in Chicago in Week 4. The Detroit Lions were struggling on the field and lost two of their best players, Romeo Okawara and Frank Ragnow, for the game due to injuries.
Okwara left with what was originally described as an ankle injury, but after examination from trainers, he headed to the locker room for further treatment. Not long later, his ailment was changed to a foot injury and it was announced that he would not return. This was the same pattern of events that happened in Week 1 when Jeff Okudah suffered an Achilles injury and was lost for the season, which immediately drew concerns.
