Detroit Lions' Eric Ebron: TE additions will help me reach potential

The tight end position was a revolving door for the Detroit Lions last year, with specialized complements to Eric Ebron rotating in and out of the lineup on an almost weekly basis.

Cole Wick, Khari Lee, Orson Charles, Clay Harbor and Matthew Mulligan spent multiple weeks on the active roster. Combined, those five players caught a total of six passes and were on the field for less than 40% of the Lions' offensive plays.

The Lions took a two-pronged approach to upgrading the tight end position this off-season, signing Darren Fells in free agency and adding Michael Roberts in the draft.
