Detroit Lions DT Mike Daniels leaves game vs. Eagles, will not return

One of the Detroit Lions’ savviest signings this offseason was the late addition of defensive tackle Mike Daniels. The former Packer gave the Lions potentially another pass rushing threat from the interior of the defense, which was especially helpful given Da’Shawn Hand’s training camp injury.

Unfortunately, Daniels appears to have suffered an injury in Week 3’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. After Detroit’s second defensive drive, Daniels was seen limping into the locker room, and the Detroit Lions have now declared him out for the remainder of the game with a foot injury.
