The Detroit Lions, much like every other NFL team out there, are looking to win football games. But what are the realistic expectations for the Motor City team in 2018? For starters, let’s take 16-0 and the Super Bowl and put them on a shelf. Obviously, every team has this goal. But what is the realistic definition of success this year for Detroit?
Since 2010, the Lions have finished with a winning record four times. They’ve finished with a losing record four times as well. If the comparison is made using this recent history, anything more than an 8-8 record looks good.
