The Detroit Lions took the field on Monday night for their 13th practice of training camp, and the team was buckling down for another intense round of padded practices. Coach Dan Campbell said the plan was to work the starters hard over the next two practices (Monday night and Wednesday morning). Then, depending on the quality of work completed, he would determine who would play in the Lions’ next preseason game on Saturday.
“So much of this for me is going to be about what we get out of today and then the scrimmage that we have in two days,” Campbell said ahead of practice.
