The Detroit Lions were back on the practice field on Sunday, following their preseason game against the New York Giants. After a tough week of joint practices that saw several players banged up, and a physical game resulted in even more injuries, the Lions scaled things back a bit, appearing to keep a few extra players out of practice.
Ahead of practice, coach Dan Campbell confirmed that edge rusher Nate Lynn (shoulder) and offensive tackle Connor Galvin (MCL) would also be lost for the season after suffering injuries in the game.
