The Detroit Lions are working on a deal to bring back one of their top pass rushers from last season.
Defensive end Armonty Bryant is in the final stages of negotiating a return to the Lions after he had three sacks in five games for the team last year.
Though NFL Players Association records indicate Bryant has finalized a one-year deal worth $855,000, as reported by the National Football Post, a person close to the talks said the contract is not yet completed.
The Lions claimed Bryant off waivers from the Cleveland Browns early last season and he finished third on the team in sacks despite missing time with two suspensions and a knee injury.
