ALLEN PARK -- The Detroit Lions made a roster swap along the defensive line on Monday, claiming C.J. Wilson off waivers and placing Andre Fluellen on injured reserve.
Wilson, a seventh-round draft pick for the Green Bay Packers in 2010, has six seasons of experience, appearing in 70 games, including 19 starts. The 6-foot-3, 290-pounder was most recently with the Oakland Raiders and has recorded 102 tackles and 5.5 sacks during his career.
Fluellen suffered a hip injury in Detroit's 45-10 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in London. He had re-signed with the Lions last month to help ease the team's depth issues following a season-ending injury suffered by Tyrunn Walker.
