C.J. Anderson has joked about it for years, dropping hints in the ear of just about every play-caller he’s played for.
Only it’s never really been a joke.
He did it with Gary Kubiak in Denver, and Adam Gase, too. And yes, in his first training camp with the Detroit Lions this summer, the veteran running back did it with Darrell Bevell.
