The NFL is two months away from finalizing its 2019 schedule, but it appears as if the Detroit Lions already have a Thanksgiving rematch in place.
The Lions are expected to host the Chicago Bears in their annual Thanksgiving game this fall, according to a report Monday by Sports Business Daily.
The Bears won the NFC North in 2018 and swept the season series with the Lions, winning, 34-22, at Soldier Field in early November and 23-16 two weeks later on Thanksgiving at Ford Field.
Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky and Lions running back Kerryon Johnson were among the starters who missed the Thanksgiving game, which turned on a late Matthew Stafford interception that Eddie Jackson returned 41 yards for a touchdown.
