ALLEN PARK -- Going on the road to play America's Team should be the biggest test of the Detroit Lions' season so far. With the best record in the NFL and playing late in the season in one of the more hostile home environments in the league, the Dallas Cowboys should provide that ultimate gut check to the Lions to gauge whether they have really turned it around enough to become one of the league's 12 playoff teams.
It very well could be. Or it could lose its luster. And the Thursday night game might be the deciding factor.
