Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell confirmed on Friday morning what fans were fearing: center Frank Ragnow is expected to miss Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears.
“Yeah, I don’t see him going,” Campbell said. “I don’t see him going, but he is improving. He’s getting better, he’s getting better. So, yeah, I don’t see him going.”
Ragnow suffered a knee injury in the second quarter of last week’s game against the New Orleans Saints and did not return. The good news for Ragnow is that while there were initial fears of a long-term injury with the knee, further testing this week revealed that it was not as serious.
