Interceptions aren't the only barometer of good cornerback play, but as Darius Slay has emerged as one of the better cover men in the NFL, the one knock on his game continues to be a lack of takeaways.
Slay has just six interceptions in his four NFL seasons and has never had more than two picks in a year.
Last season, he played at a Pro Bowl level despite missing three games with a hamstring injury, but was passed over for the all-star game - he was an alternate - in favor of four players with more interceptions (Janoris Jenkins, Patrick Peterson, Richard Sherman and Xavier Rhodes).
