The NFL cutdown deadline is just four days away. By 4 p.m. ET on Saturday, the Detroit Lions will have a 53-man roster set in stone despite no OTAs, no minicamp, and no preseason. It will undoubtedly be the toughest offseason for personnel departments to make key roster decisions, and some good players will likely have to find jobs elsewhere.
The defensive side of the ball may be the toughest for the Lions staff. With so much roster turnover, there are so many new faces to learn and so little time for those players to get acclimated to Detroit.
