Forget about this Detroit Lions season. It’s over. If fact, it has been over since general manager Bob Quinn raised the white flag and traded Golden Tate.

A team that trades one of its best players is not trying to win anything. Period.

After the Lions’ latest drubbing Sunday in Chicago, one thing is very clear: This season is about next season for Quinn and coach Matt Patricia.
