The first half of Sunday was pretty kind to the Detroit Lions, if you’re still grasping to playoff hopes. Washington was thoroughly destroyed by the Giants. The Saints dispatched of the Buccaneers after an early scare, and the Browns look like they may take down the Panthers in a big upset.
Of course, it all will likely mean nothing, and it will certainly mean nothing if the Lions don’t take care of their business in the late slate of games.
This week, Detroit travels to Arizona, where they haven’t won since 1993.
