It’s finally here! The first injury report of the season is here! We finally get to check the report!
On Wednesday, the Detroit Lions released their initial injury report for their Week 1 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. The good news is that none of the injuries listed came as a surprise. The bad news is that five potential starters were limited in their participation in practice. Take a look:
Wednesday injury report:
Jarrad Davis (ankle) - Limited participation
Da’Shawn Hand (elbow) - Limited participation
Rashaan Melvin (knee) - Limited participation
Frank Ragnow (ankle) - Limited participation
Trey Flowers (shoulder) - Limited participation
The only real new news here is that Da’Shawn Hand’s injury is specifically to his elbow and that Rashaan Melvin is dealing with a knee injury.
