Alex Karras might finally get his due.
Karras, the late defensive tackle who starred for the Detroit Lions in 1958-70, is one of 20 players – and three ex-Lions – who are finalists for the Pro Football Hall-of-Fame's centennial class slated to be selected next month
Karras was a member of the NFL's 1960s all-decade team and played alongside Hall-of-Famers Joe Schmidt, Lem Barney and Yale Lary in Detroit.
He made four Pro Bowls and was a three-time first-team All-Pro, but he also missed the 1963 season while serving a suspension for gambling.
