One down, eight to go.
The Detroit Lions agreed to contract terms with fourth-round pick Logan Stenberg on Sunday, his agency, JL Sports, announced.
Stenberg is the first of the Lions' nine draft picks to finalize a contract, though the deal is not yet signed.
Rookie holdouts have become rare in the NFL as the current collective bargaining agreement slots contracts for draft picks. According to Spotrac, Stenberg will have a cap hit of about $795,410 this fall. With a minimum base salary of $610,000, his signing bonus would be about $780,000.
