The ring around Ford Field honoring the best Detroit Lions in franchise history is about to get a little more crowded.
Just a few minutes before the Lions kicked off their 2018 preseason finale against the Cleveland Browns, the team announced they will be adding three more historic players to the “Pride of the Lions” ring of honor circling their home field.
Herman Moore, Roger Brown and Alex Karras will see their names enshrined at Ford Field during the team’s homecoming game against the Seattle Seahawks on October 28.
Those three join 15 other historic Lions players: Lem Barney, Jack Christiansen, Dutch Clark, Lou Creekmur, Jason Hanson, Dick “Night Train” Lane, Yale Lary, Bobby Layne, Dick LeBeau, Barry Sanders, Charlie Sanders, Joe Schmidt, Dick Stanfel, Doak Walker and Alex Wojciechowicz.
