If the Detroit Lions are gearing up for a competition at right guard, they have another candidate for the starting spot.

The Lions agreed to a one-year deal with Arizona Cardinals offensive lineman Oday Aboushi on Tuesday. The deal is worth up to $2 million according to NFL Network, which first reported the signing.

Aboushi is the fourth known player the Lions are expected to sign when free agency officially opens at 4 p.m. Wednesday. The Lions also have agreed to terms with defensive end Trey Flowers, receiver Danny Amendola, cornerback Justin Coleman and tight end Jesse James.
