The Detroit Lions filled one of the two open spots on their 90-man roster Tuesday by claiming defensive tackle Bruce Hector off waivers from the Tennessee Titans.
Hector, who last appeared in a game with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2019, takes the roster spot left open by Brian Price's retirement.
The Lions placed Price, who signed earlier this spring, on the reserve/retired list Tuesday.
Hector has played for four NFL teams since entering the league as an undrafted free agent in 2018. He spent time on the practice squads of the Carolina Panthers and Philadelphia Eagles, where he appeared in 11 career games, and had brief stints with the Titans and Arizona Cardinals.
