With their top two receivers still rehabbing from injuries, the Detroit Lions signed veteran Jermaine Kearse to add depth to their offense Thursday.
Kearse caught 37 passes for 371 yards in 14 games for the New York Jets last year and played his first five NFL seasons for the Seattle Seahawks and new Lions offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell.
The Lions have practiced all spring without Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones.
Jones missed the final seven games last year with a knee injury that required surgery, and Golladay sat out the season finale with a chest injury.
