Fullback Nick Bawden's season is over, while Austin Bryant's is just beginning.
The Detroit Lions placed Bawden on injured reserve Wednesday for the second straight year, and activated rookie defensive end Austin Bryant off IR.
Bryant, the team's fourth-round pick out of Clemson, returned to practice three weeks ago and could contribute as a rotational pass rusher in the final six games.
