The Detroit Lions did what the Detroit Lions do best: pull the rug of enthusiasm right out from underneath their fan base. After somehow dominating the New England Patriots a week ago, the Lions blew a chance to even their record in a date with the struggling Dallas Cowboys. Though the Lions seemed to play better than the end result, several things became crystal clear as the game unfolded.

I do not want to spend too much time blaming officials for the result, because at the end of the day, the Lions had the lead and a chance to seal the win, and failed to do so.
