Free Press sports writer Carlos Monarrez answers three pressing questions after the Lions' 35-17 loss to the Cleveland Browns on Thursday at Ford Field:
Why was defensive end Anthony Zettel playing in the third quarter?
I don’t think many people had defensive end Anthony Zettel on the roster bubble before Thursday night. He had a great training camp and a pretty good season. He proved his worth last year finishing second on the team with 6 ½ sacks. Yet there he was early in the third quarter still playing. Kerry Hyder, largely considered much more on the bubble than Zettel as he returns from a knee injury, hardly played, if at all.
