The running back core for the Detroit Lions is a topic for discussion. There is no doubt that their group is talented, both running backs Kerryon Johnson and Bo Scarbrough showed what they can bring to the table. The main issue is the health that their current running backs deal with.
Johnson has missed 14 games due to injury in his two seasons with Detroit, Scarbrough has also had his fair share of injuries as well. It’s plausible to believe that the Lions might want to bring in another talented running back, as a precaution.
