I’d be hard-pressed to find anybody who jumped for joy over the Detroit Lions 2019 NFL Draft class. The same goes for anyone who completely hated it. Overall, it was an average draft haul with a mixture of good and bad picks. Whether positive or negative, here’s my award picks for those who earned it.
Best Pick: Will Harris, Safety (Boston College)
Although I would’ve preferred a third round edge rusher or wide receiver, Harris was a great get.
Capable of playing any safety spot and possesses great athletic traits. Isn’t overly impressive in any particular but is rarely out of place or missing assignments.
