It’s been a whirlwind of emotions for Detroit Lions players and fans over the last few days. As if the painful loss to the Washington Commanders in the Divisional Round wasn’t enough, the Lions organization is seeing their entire coaching staff being picked apart by other teams. It appears like the Lions will be losing both coordinators, and several position coaches—including OL coach Hank Fraley and defensive line coach Terrell Williams—are potential finalists for coordinator jobs elsewhere.
As of publishing, though, only one thing is certain: former Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson is the new head coach of the Chicago Bears, and that has a lot of people upset.
