ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- Corey Fuller was called into Frank Beamer’s office during the preseason in 2011. He didn’t know what was going on, but it’s a moment he will never forget.
The Fullers had been one of the biggest families in the Virginia Tech football program’s history, with four brothers playing for Beamer and the Hokies. Corey, now a receiver with the Detroit Lions, was the different one, though. He started at Kansas, transferred to Virginia Tech and then walked on to the football team -- at least until that 2011 day that Beamer had him come visit.
