Detroit Lions interim head coach Darrell Bevell will miss Saturday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers because of the NFL's COVID-19 protocols, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Lions wide receivers coach Robert Prince will assume head-coaching duties Saturday during Bevell's absence, the source told Schefter.
Bevell and defensive coordinator Cory Undlin were among the coaches in isolation and unable to be at the team facility due to contact tracing after a player and coach tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday.
Other coaches not at practice Wednesday were defensive line coach Bo Davis, linebackers coach Ty McKenzie and defensive backs coach Steve Gregory.
