ALLEN PARK -- Darius Slay has intercepted 15 passes in his NFL career so far, but one of them stands out to him above all the others.
He detailed it in an NFL Films special this week.
It came in 2016, before he became an All-Pro and interceptions were the skill he offered better than anyone else in the game. This was a contest with the Eagles, where Slay dropped back for a deep pass in the final minutes of a one-point game and high-pointed the ball to seal the win.
It secured a critical victory on his team's march to a wildcard berth, but Slay also remembers it fondly for another reason.
