Earlier this week, the Detroit Lions confirmed earlier reports that they were re-signing veteran receiver Danny Amendola for the 2020 season. Now NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero has the contract details for Amendola.
Per Pelissero, Amendola’s one-year deal is worth $5 million with $4.5 million guaranteed. If he plays at the same level as 2019—when he nearly set a career record with 62 catches and 678 yards—he can earn an additional $500,000 in bonuses, and he can even earn another $500,000 if he outperforms that.
This is nearly an identical contract to what Amendola got last year.
