The Detroit Lions will have their starting running back on the field today for the first time in nearly a month.
Rookie D'Andre Swift is active against the Green Bay Packers missing the last three games with concussion-like symptoms.
Swift had 149 yards from scrimmage in his last appearance, a Nov. 15 win over Washington. He reported a brain injury after practice days later, and sat out losses to the Carolina Panthers and Houston Texans while in concussion protocol.
Last week, with Swift still dealing with headaches, the Lions held the running back out with what they termed an illness.
