The Detroit Lions made a handful of roster moves on Monday, the second day in a row they’ve had to make some significant roster adjustments.
Most notably, the Lions waived/injured receiver Antoine Green and signed quarterback Jake Fromm.
Coach Dan Campbell explained Monday evening why they felt like this was the best course for Green, who suffered a concussion and possible neck injury against the New York Giants in the preseason opener.
“Yeah, that’s something that we certainly had a number of doctors look at his scans and we felt like this was the best thing on our end for him and needed to do this,” Campbell said.
