On Sunday, the Detroit Lions begin their quest for the Super Bowl. And while the consistency of the coaching staff and much of the roster has left us knowing what we can expect on the field, that isn’t as true for the defensive side of the ball.
This offseason, the Lions made major changes to the personnel on defense after finishing 23rd in the points allowed and 31st in yards per pass allowed last season. Coach Dan Campbell admitted on Friday, he’s extremely excited to see how the changes pay off.
“I’m very eager, I’m very eager,” Campbell said.
