Cold weather won’t slow down Detroit Lions WR Jameson Williams

Whenever it’s Chicago Bears on the road, weather becomes a big storyline for the Detroit Lions game. This week, the forecast looks relatively mild—only a seven percent chance of precipitation and 10-15 MPH winds—but with temperatures expected to be in the 30s, it will be Detroit’s only cold-weather game on the schedule this year.

Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams welcomes that development with open arms. Though he played college football in the SEC—where cold games almost never happen—growing up in St. Louis, frigid football was the norm.

“I’ve been playing in the snow, ice, and everything since I was eight years old, seven years old,” Williams said.
