ALLEN PARK -- The Detroit Lions practiced in pads for a second straight day on Monday. Here are some notes:
• Detroit overhauled its offensive line this season, but with the exception of Riley Reiff, it continues to get worked over by the defense during one-on-ones. Center Travis Swanson was mauled by Gabe Wright, who might not even make the team, before rebounding with a nice effort against A'Shawn Robinson. Right guard Larry Warford battled Khyri Thornton to a draw, before getting pushed back by a bull rush the next time around. Left tackle Taylor Decker got pushed a little on his first rep against Devin Taylor, though did a nice job of moving him away from the bag, before getting beat by a nifty move from Taylor in Round 2.
