ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- Calvin Johnson said Wednesday he would like to finish his career with the Detroit Lions.
The wide receiver, who has almost every receiving record in franchise history, said "that'd be lovely" if he were able to play his entire career in Detroit.
This has come up because the Lions are once again on the precipice of a regime change -- one that would be Johnson's third in Detroit. He was drafted by Matt Millen in 2007 with Rod Marinelli as the coach. He lasted through the entirety of the Martin Mayhew/Jim Schwartz era with the Lions and is now playing under Jim Caldwell and interim general manager Sheldon White.
