HOUSTON -- Former Bears cornerback Charles Tillman locked horns with Calvin Johnson 12 times in his career, and few defended the Detroit Lions great any better.
The key, Tillman says, was not shying from Johnson's physicality, and to jam him hard. Which really begs the question, what's it like jamming one of the most physically dominating receivers of all time?
"I actually ruptured my tricep," Tillman said without missing a beat. "That's what it was like jamming Calvin Johnson."
The injury occurred on Nov. 10, 2013. Chicago was in a Cover 2 and Tillman tried to rough up Johnson at the line of scrimmage.
