DETROIT – A look at Detroit Lions players who were “up” and those who were “down” in Sunday’s 32-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers:
UP:
QB Matthew Stafford: His consistency continues to show up every week under offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter. He had an efficient 118.6 passer rating after completing 29 of 37 passes for 301 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. It was Stafford’s fifth-straight multi-touchdown game and fifth game out of the last six where he has not thrown an interception.
WR Calvin Johnson: It wasn’t a vintage performance, but the Lions rediscovered how to involve Calvin Johnson in the offense.
