Tyrunn Walker signed a one-year deal with the Lions this offseason for a chance to start along Detroit's defensive front, play significant minutes and possibly cash in next offseason after a productive 2015 season.
Unfortunately for him and the Lions, Walker’s season lasted just three and a half games after he suffered a broken leg and a dislocated ankle after be cut blocked in Detroit’s 13-10 loss in Seattle Monday night.
Walker had surgery Tuesday afternoon and will be placed on injured reserve by the Lions at some point this week.
“You certainly feel for him,” head coach Jim Caldwell said.
