Caldwell mum on why concussed Wilson played

Jim Caldwell declined to shed any light on when Josh Wilson suffered the brain injury that kept him out of practice Wednesday, and the Detroit Lions' coach refused to say why Wilson was allowed to finish Sunday's win over the Chicago Bears after he appeared to take a knee to the helmet in overtime.

"Next question," Caldwell said at his news conference today.

Wilson made a first-down-saving tackle on tight end Martellus Bennett on the Bears' first possession of overtime, then returned to the game for the next series when he played two snaps of pass coverage without having a ball thrown his way.
