Allen Park – Soon.
It wasn’t a specific answer, but that’s the most Lions coach Jim Caldwell would say about when the team needed to make a decision about adding defensive tackle Khyri Thornton back to the active roster following the completion of his six-game suspension.
“Probably the best way for me to describe that is soon,” Caldwell said.
But reading between the lines with the team’s roster decisions last week, it appears Thornton is part of the team’s plans going forward. The Lions have only three defensive tackles on the roster after releasing Datone Jones and Caraun Reid.
