Head coach Jim Caldwell has made it plain that the Lions’ hard feelings about a controversial no-call in Monday night’s 13-10 loss at Seattle have been expressed to the NFL’s hierarchy by franchise owner Martha Firestone Ford at the league meetings this week in New York.
There has been criticism of Caldwell and the organization in general for not reacting more vocally to the no-call on what should have been a penalty against the Seahawks on a play in the end zone in the last two minutes.
Linebacker K.J. Wright tapped the ball out of the end zone after Calvin Johnson fumbled short of reaching the end zone.
