Detroit Lions coach Jim Caldwell today credited “productive paranoia” for a good week of practice that his team parlayed into a stellar performance in Sunday's 28-13 victory over the New Orleans Saints.
“Last week was one of our better weeks of practice,” he said. “And when you practice the way we practice consistently, you can’t help but get better, I think. And that’s despite all of the shortcomings, injuries and things of that nature we don’t talk about. We just focus on who’s here, what do we have to do, let’s go get it done.
“But I do think that, obviously, it was an important one for us.
